Mar 05, 2020 So, if you ever wanted to record a song, GarageBand for Apple devices is the likely the easiest way (and it’s definitely more fun than the Mac version). Smart Instruments are the first and most. The introduction of “smart” instruments and the tactile nature of the iPad make the difference, I think. Garageband’s Smart Instruments eliminate the learning curve usually required to make pleasant sounds: once I set my song in D major, the smart guitar transforms into eight complimentary chords. Simply select a chord root on the left, chord type in the middle, the chord type addition on the right, and explore the chords with “Guitar Chords Compass”! App features: - Number of the chords: 30,000, - The displayed chord types notation and chord set is fully compatible with the GarageBand smart instruments. Edit the drum groove after you record
Garageband Apple
After you record a drum groove, the grid shows what has been recorded at the current playhead position. For example, if you recorded a snare drum starting at bar 5, moving the playhead to bar 5 (or later) shows the snare in the grid.
You can edit the recorded drum groove and try out your changes without altering the recording. Playback starts when you add or move drums in the grid so you can hear your edits. To stop playback, tap the Power button to turn it off. To keep your changes, record the groove again.
