Native Instruments just announced an update to Traktor Pro 2. Now at 2.10.3, the new version addresses and fixes nearly all known crash issues in both Windows and Mac computers, something that’s been talked about a lot by our Traktor-using readers for quite a while now. Also included in the update is an important fix to the problem of Stems occasionally misaligning, along with Traktor Scratch certification for the Rane MP2014 rotary mixer.
If you’ve been having issues with Traktor Pro 2, this could be the update you’re waiting for. I, for one, have experienced misaligned Stems (it sounds like one of the four stem tracks moving forwards or backwards a few beats out of sync) and it could ruin a perfectly good mix.
After installation and registration, whenever I open up Traktor, no window pops up, and no ability to select preferences is available. The little blue dot under the program is there, indicating that the program is open, but literally nothing pops up. I was previously using a pirated version of Traktor 2 with my Denon MC3000 controller. Click UPDATE next to the Traktor Pro 3 entry to download and install the update. Use our Setup Wizard to connect Traktor
To make your life as easy as possible we have created a setup wizard that helps you to connect Traktor to Livesets. You only need to complete the wizard once because your settings are persistent. Here we go:
Traktor Pro 2 Windows 10
- Log in on Livesets using your new DJ account.
- Click on 'Broadcasting' in the top menu to start our 'Broadcast Setup Wizard'.
- Hit the 'Configure Traktor' button and follow the instructions.
- Next; click on the 'Connection test' button and again follow the instructions.
- When done, disconnect Traktor and you have completed the wizard.
That's it, you are now ready to broadcast your DJ set live from Traktor!
We suggest you add a few test sessions first to get familiar with Livesets.

- Broadcasting is only available in Traktor Pro and Traktor Scratch Pro.
