Hello,
I'm new to Garageband but I'm a long time Mac user with an IT background.
I usually import mp3/wav loops by:
- Dragging them from the finder into the Loop Browser or
- Organizing them into folders at ~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops/
- and then clicking on 'Reindex All Loops'
Since today, they don't appear in the Loop Folder of Garageband anymore.
Everything is still there at ~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops/
I've tried to:
- Update Garageband to the latest version
- Delete:
- All index files at ~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index
- The file ~/Music/Audio Music Apps/Databases/LoopsDatabaseV09.db
- The folder ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.garageband10
Each time I:
- Reboot the OS
- Reboot Garageband
- Empty the trash
- 'Reindex All Loops'
Nothing worked so far & this is very frustrating.
Your help is really appreciated!
Thanks
Alex
